Responsibilities

  • Lead and plan manufacturing engineering programs
  • Lead teams of engineers to define processes for fabricating, assembling, inspecting, and testing new products and machines based on production engineering and design principles
  • Define supporting tools and fixtures needed for production
  • Develop product specifications and define quality standards and inspection methods for manufacturing products and machines
  • Contribute to key decisions, provide solutions to complex problems across teams, and foster a collaborative environment encouraging innovation and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality
  • Mentor and guide team members to achieve professional development goals
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
  • Lead and execute PLC and SCADA upgrades, including designing and implementing new systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage and troubleshoot automation and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal operation
  • Oversee commissioning of new systems and conduct fault diagnosis to minimize downtime
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, including system design specifications, operational procedures, and maintenance manuals
  • Act as a mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance and support
