Requirements

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in contracts management, including experience in a law firm or established government contractor setting, and direct experience with the government defense or intelligence community within the past two years. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Contracts Manager/Counsel will manage, draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and government contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and customer agreements, while supporting government procurement activities and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. They will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties, oversee the full contract lifecycle, maintain organized records, and collaborate with legal counsel on complex agreements. Additionally, the role involves leading or assisting in the evaluation of contract lifecycle management tools, developing templates and playbooks, and driving process improvements.
