Requirements

7+ years of experience as an individual contributor within cybersecurity, DevOps, and cloud security
Significant experience working cross-functionally and contributing to high-performing teams
Technical understanding of cloud, network security, identity, encryption, data protection, and API security
General knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, ISO, SOC 2, PCI DSS)
Functional use of cloud tools (CWPP, CSPM, cloud-native application protection platform, CDN/WAF)
Familiarity with automation tools (ArgoCD, Chef, Puppet, Salt)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with security and engineering leadership to architect and articulate a scalable and resilient vision and roadmap for secure cloud environments
Contribute to team rituals, taking ownership of the outcome of your work while ensuring risks and priorities are proactively communicated with stakeholders
Develop and implement programs to ensure the company’s systems are fully compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and privacy laws
Act as a technical subject matter expert for cloud security requirements, initiatives, and escalations
Mentor junior team members, focusing on their growth by fostering a 'people first' environment with clearly stated expectations and robust support
Define key performance indicators, objectives, and key results, and metrics to illustrate efficacy of the cloud security program integrating results with Vulnerability Management, Security Assurance, or Security Operations
