Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in digital media sales, working with small and mid-market advertisers and advertising agencies
  • Established relationships with marketing decision makers at companies and agencies
  • A track record demonstrating an ability to develop and grow a book of business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of X (Twitter) and the social media landscape, and opportunities for marketers
  • A passion for X and our mission
  • Attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues
  • Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of digital marketplace and understanding of the competitive landscape

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen business relationships between X and both global and local advertisers/agencies based in India
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing client accounts, identifying renewal opportunities, and proactively pursuing upsells
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations that demonstrate how X’s advertising solutions can help advertisers achieve their business objectives
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance for key advertisers, providing data-driven optimization recommendations with a strong focus on upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and X stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for advertisers
  • Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including activity tracking, revenue forecasting, and invoice related tasks
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously adapting to the evolving social media landscape and X’s product innovations
