Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and a minimum of 7 to 15 years of design experience. Experience in aviation design build is advantageous, as is familiarity with DOT project experience and site civil design, particularly for commercial or institutional developments. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred, and proficiency in design software such as XP SWMM, EPA SWMM, ProjectWise, and BIM 360/ACCF is desired.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will establish civil engineering design standards, perform Phase I and Phase II engineering design to meet client and regulatory requirements, and keep management informed of variances related to quality, schedule, and budget. You will coordinate quality control reviews of deliverables, coordinate with outside utility agencies, provide support during the construction phase with design changes, respond to RFIs, and review shop drawings. Additionally, you will support the Project Manager as directed and contribute to the overall design process for airport projects.
