A self-starting attitude and the capacity to independently gain detailed knowledge of CPQ and CRM systems are essential. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with operations, finance, accounting, and management teams. Experience with Mexico-specific billing processes and regulations is a plus.
The Senior Billing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing controls and processes for contracting and billing, acting as the senior reviewer of sales contracts from signature to billing. This role involves coordinating with billing and contract teams, setting up new contracts and customers in billing systems, executing manual and automated billing processes, identifying and correcting billing errors, ensuring audit-ready documentation, preparing reconciliations, and identifying contract terms that present process and revenue recognition challenges. The specialist will also collaborate on solutions, propose changes for evolving business needs, and execute initiatives to build, improve, or scale processes through automation and data leverage.
