Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services within a cutting-edge microservices architecture using Scala and Java/Spring Boot, while delivering high-scale features from inception to production
Optimizing performance, cost, and reliability of the services in production, while ensuring efficient data management, querying, and consumption across diverse stores (Snowflake, Trino, Apache Iceberg, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Staying ahead of industry trends, while driving innovation in semantic layers, query optimizations, and analytics capabilities, and refining and expanding our technology stack
Operating seamlessly across teams—including product, UX, and frontend—while mentoring junior engineers and elevating the team's capabilities
