Responsibilities

Architect and implement backend systems that are robust, scalable, and capable of supporting millions of active users, ensuring high availability and reliability through thoughtful system design (engineering excellence & scalability)
Build and maintain services from initial model design to production support, contributing across all phases including prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring (service development lifecycle)
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews to maintain high standards and mentor peers on engineering best practices (code quality & best practices)
Tackle challenging engineering problems such as decomposing monolithic applications into microservices, managing large-scale data migrations, and optimizing system performance (complex problem-solving)
Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing practices to ensure system health and reliability; proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks (observability & resilience)
Work closely with DevOps, product managers, and other engineers to ensure smooth integrations and high-quality deliverables, aligning engineering solutions with business needs and operational goals (cross-team collaboration)
