Requirements

  • Familiarity with microservices architectures, event-driven systems, or both
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and DevOps practices
  • LLM experience with different models (bonus for insights into integrating AI into backend solutions)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Bonus: Prior exposure to GraphQL, Terraform/CloudFormation, or advanced monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenSearch)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build cloud-native, scalable backend solutions using Java (Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security) that power TeliaPlay’s key features
  • Lead cloud deployments by designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) while leveraging Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker to ensure a robust microservices architecture
  • Collaborate and innovate with cross-functional experts (DevOps, PM, and BA) to solve technical challenges, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and deliver seamless user experiences
  • Champion best practices by integrating security, performance optimization, and monitoring from day one, driving code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring clean, testable code
  • Shape APIs by crafting RESTful APIs for both internal and customer-facing platforms and building scalable integrations without compromising quality or performance
