Requirements

  • B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in compiler development or toolchain engineering
  • Hands on experience in compiler infrastructures like LLVM/GCC
  • In-depth knowledge of debugging information formats such as DWARF
  • Deep understanding of linker and loader internals
  • Excellent C and C++ programming skills
  • Experience collaborating with global, distributed team
  • Self-driven with strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Part of NVIDIA re-targetable GPU compiler backend team to design, optimize, and maintain robust, high-performance compilers and tools
  • Work with global compiler, hardware, driver and application teams to oversee improvements and problem resolutions
  • Solve unique problems seen only in compiling for massively parallel GPU architecture
  • Get a chance to influence and work on new GPU architectures
