The Senior Associate, Operations Compliance should have experience supporting regulatory oversight of grievance and appeal processes, with a focus on state and federal regulations, particularly in California. Experience collaborating with legal teams, tracking case resolutions, auditing files for accuracy and timeliness, identifying process gaps, and monitoring reports is necessary. The role requires partnership with internal departments and stakeholders, participation in committee meetings, and the ability to provide training support. Familiarity with clinical and operational audits is also required.
The Senior Associate will review and monitor grievance and appeal cases for compliance with state and federal regulations, focusing on California standards. They will collaborate with the Legal team to clarify regulatory requirements, track and document grievance resolutions, and audit case files for completeness and timeliness. The role involves identifying process gaps and recommending improvements, monitoring reports to ensure deadlines are met, and partnering with internal teams to ensure compliance. Additionally, the Senior Associate will participate in Grievance and Appeal Committee meetings, contribute to policy development, provide training support, and assist with other operations compliance initiatives like audits.
