Requirements

Senior-level experience in analytics engineering (aligned with Wise's Analytics Career Map and levelling structure)
Experience working closely with Analysts in a tribe or similar team structure
Expertise in data infrastructure, monitoring, testing, and best practices
Ability to mentor analysts directly
Capability to create and own a data infrastructure roadmap
Knowledge of data modelling best practices and ability to assess and implement them strategically
Proficiency in coordinating, supporting, and executing on building core datasets
Expertise in new data tooling and ability to roll it out organization-wide

Responsibilities

Help build better products faster by making it easy for Wisers (analysts and users) to get insights from data
Improve data user productivity while keeping costs sustainable as part of the Analytics Experience team
Work closely with Analysts of one of the tribes at Wise
Establish basic infrastructure, monitoring, testing, and best practices by mentoring analysts directly
Create and own a data infrastructure roadmap for the tribe
Coordinate, support, and execute on building core datasets
Become the go-to expert for new data tooling and best practices, rolling it out across the organization by helping others adopt it
Strategically assess what data modelling best practices at Wise should look like and make them a reality in the tribe
