Experience evaluating risk associated with the Stop Loss product
Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

Responsibilities

Supporting the Stop Loss Underwriting team to achieve financial and strategic objectives through effective underwriting practices
Identifying and managing stop loss risk to maximize revenue, membership, and earnings
Conducting underwriting analysis and performing risk assessments for new and/or renewal of large group contracts
Applying in-depth knowledge of the Underwriter field to offer feedback for decisions and innovation strategies that enhance organizational growth and visibility
Preparing and delivering moderately complex new business quotes and/or existing business renewals
Reviewing work for accuracy and recommending pricing and/or alternatives based on financial analysis, underwriting principals, and business strategy
Assisting less experienced underwriters in development of technical skills or specific subject matter
Coaching more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities
