Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Regional Studies, or International Relations from a reputable institution, along with a Master's degree in a relevant field such as international economics. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a research or analysis role, preferably within the private sector, is required. Demonstrated knowledge of macroeconomics through prior experience or coursework is essential. The role demands exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Arabic, the ability to distill complex topics for non-specialists, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Experience managing multiple projects, strong problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will monitor and analyze economic, political, and business trends within the MENA region, forecasting macroeconomic indicators and conducting ongoing economic analysis. Responsibilities include producing concise and impactful research deliverables for senior executives, delivering research presentations to clients, and collaborating with the commercial team to support business growth and client relationships. The analyst will also have management responsibility for one team member and engage directly with C-suite executives.
