Candidates should possess two to five years of research experience, including in fields such as product management, financial analysis, or business analysis, and a post-secondary degree preferred in subjects like business, journalism, marketing, financial analysis, research, law, legal studies, social sciences, psychology, or information sciences. Familiarity with sector-specific sources and tools, such as Westlaw or Pitchbook, is considered a plus, along with a strong knowledge of web-based content and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The Senior Analyst, Competitive Intelligence will develop competitor and market profiles, conduct business analysis and research, synthesize and contextualize data, collaborate with clients, and research and edit daily market intelligence briefings. Analysts will monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance. They will also conduct audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, as well as achieve operational targets within the CI team, including meeting client deadlines and other tasks as directed.
