What We're Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties (R2R, P2P, O2C streams) within the Welltech Group Accounting team. The responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

To be successful in the role, you should have a solid working knowledge of Polish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS. An outstanding candidate should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organised, able to work with little supervision, and perform under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial statements, financial analyses, and reports for Group entities (including Poland).
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts for R2R, P2P, and O2C streams.
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting processes and procedures.
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Demonstrable accounting experience in R2R.
  • Working knowledge of local Polish GAAPs.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.
  • Ability to work with little supervision in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Workday system – nice to have.
  • Advanced level English knowledge.
  • Experience in the IT industry – nice to have.
  • ACCA qualified or partially-qualified would be advantageous.
