Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
  • 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including both public accounting and corporate roles
  • Experience leading or contributing to complex projects within accounting or finance teams
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working across departments and with executive stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to both detail and big-picture thinking
  • Experience with technical accounting assessments and audit readiness
  • Ability to work remotely

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute a variety of high-impact special projects across the accounting and finance function
  • Manage project plans, resources, deliverables, and stakeholder communication for initiatives such as ERP implementations or upgrades, process automation or redesign, technical accounting assessments
  • Partner with auditors during internal and external audit cycles by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring appropriate controls
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities as needed, including review of journal entries and reconciliations
  • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures related to new processes or project areas
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on accounting best practices and change management
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive improvements in processes, systems, and reporting — all while ensuring alignment with U.S. GAAP and internal control standards
