Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive strategies for assigned customers to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Identify new sales opportunities while building on existing business
  • Plan and conduct regular customer meetings and seminars, which will include technical demonstrations in collaboration with Applications Scientists, and foster trust with prospective and existing purchasers of our products
  • Negotiate and conclude license agreements and service contracts, managing the entire sales process from quotation creation to contract conclusion and implementation support
  • Conduct post-implementation customer satisfaction improvement and retention activities
  • Gather information on drug discovery research trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the Japanese market
  • Provide regular performance reports and market feedback to US headquarters
  • Collaborate with Marketing to plan Japan market-focused events and campaigns
