Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, Disability Studies, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, disability case management, or a related field is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently, as well as proficiency with digital tools and comfort navigating multiple platforms, are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accommodation Consultant will lead and manage the interactive process for workplace accommodations under ADA/PWFA and related legislation. This includes reviewing medical documentation, collaborating with employees, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to assess needs, and providing end-to-end case management for timely and compliant resolution. The role involves educating employees and managers on ADA rights and responsibilities, maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to SLAs and quality standards, and partnering cross-functionally to align accommodations with business needs and legal requirements. Additionally, the consultant must prioritize tasks effectively, ensure timely follow-up, and demonstrate adaptability and a sense of urgency in response to evolving business needs.
