Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in C/C++ development of embedded/real-time components of a multi-threaded system
  • Strong with real-time (RT) memory management and CPU optimization
  • 10+ years of experience in 4G/5G Cellular systems, specifically in the U-Plane areas (MAC/RLC/PDCP/EGTP)
  • Good understanding of 3GPP communication and SCTP/TCP protocols
  • Ability to translate L2/L3 standards and specifications towards efficient implementation
  • Experience with management of developer team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong foundation in troubleshooting and debugging
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a global multi-site organization
  • Hands-on experience with SW development methodologies: Design documentation, implementation, unit testing
  • Linux user application development experience
  • B.Sc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or top IDF software development unit
  • Advantage: Experience with a Kubernetes and Docker development environment - understanding containerization concepts, building and managing Docker images

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize advanced cellular communication systems for 4G product
  • Handle the full development process of L2/L3 embedded protocol stack, including design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration
  • Develop new features/environment for Parallel Wireless future products
  • Debug existing solutions used by customers around the world
