Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience in security installation project management and a strong project management background. They must possess clear and concise oral and written communication skills and have a working knowledge of access control, CCTV, and IDS design and installation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project is required, and experience with Access is preferred. A PMP Certification is preferred but not required, and U.S. citizenship is necessary due to legal government contract requirements. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security clearance.
The Security Project Manager will manage and execute programs in support of Federal Government Clients. They will combine elements of engineering, proposal writing, and project management to provide top-notch support to customers. The role involves understanding the integrated security systems project life cycle, performing site walk-offs, interfacing with project stakeholders, and participating in negotiations. The manager will oversee multiple projects, track project status, milestones, and budgetary standing, and ensure effective resolution and escalation of issues while maintaining strong scope control.
