Requirements

The Senior Manager, Security Operations requires 12+ years of experience in a security role on a high-demand security team, preferably in a Security Operations role, along with excellent written and verbal English skills and prior management experience, particularly hiring experience. Familiarity with securing container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is also required.

Responsibilities

This role involves hiring automation focused Security Engineers to help scale the team, tracking and reporting team and project performance using impactful metrics, managing and mentoring Security Engineers across different experience levels, aligning with product and engineering teams to support security projects and initiatives, scaling detection and response capabilities, tracking and driving vulnerability remediation, assisting with security training, acting as an escalation point for automated detections, overseeing on-call operations including incident commander responsibilities, and collaborating with the Federal Program Manager on security controls and requirements related to FedRAMP environments. Additionally, the role requires automating security tasks as much as possible.
