Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, coupled with over 3 years of experience in program management, security, or compliance. A strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and audit practices is essential, along with hands-on experience in developing and managing Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) programs, security metrics, awareness initiatives, and third-party assessments. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate robust communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, the ability to work independently and drive initiatives, and familiarity with security tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

The Security Program Manager will lead and execute security projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with stakeholders, mitigating risks, and resolving issues. Responsibilities include developing and improving BC/DR programs through risk assessments and BIAs, establishing recovery strategies, and overseeing IT recovery planning and exercises. The role also involves maintaining and updating security policies, representing security during external audits, and embedding security into business processes. Additionally, the manager will build and manage a comprehensive employee security awareness program, define and track security metrics and KPIs, and conduct vendor security assessments to manage third-party risk.
