Requirements

The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in security operations, cloud security, or infrastructure/product security. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and their security best practices is required, along with experience in vulnerability management, incident response, and log analysis. A solid understanding of application security principles, secure coding practices, risk mitigation strategies, and AI/ML fundamentals with an awareness of associated threat vectors is necessary. Experience working with threat intelligence, security testing, cross-functional engineering teams, and strong communication and documentation skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Security Operations Engineer will lead daily security operations across cloud infrastructure and application layers, including vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and incident triage. They will manage the lifecycle of security vulnerabilities, monitor and respond to security alerts, and support the security posture of AI features. The role involves partnering with engineering teams to embed security controls, participating in security reviews, coordinating security tickets and workflows, contributing to cloud security monitoring and automation, and researching AI security trends and threats. Additionally, the engineer will support audits and compliance efforts.
