Requirements

  • Military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred
  • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the role and static/foot patrol responsibilities

  • Ability to engage with a variety of individuals while maintaining a professional and respectful interaction

Responsibilities

  • Provide access control operations, including verifying proper ID and credentials (standing post)
  • Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site
  • Liaise with first responder personnel if and when there is an emergency
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property
  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
  • Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner
  • Compile detailed notes of incidents and contribute to incident reports
