Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in successfully executing on strategy and continuous security improvement in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
  • Risk-focused and pragmatic in security architecture thinking and delivery
  • Effective at articulating technical security risks and what controls need to be deployed
  • Extensive experience working with Product and Engineering teams in a regulated / PCI compliance Financial Services / Payments organisation
  • Exposure to multiple technology environments including infrastructure services hosted on cloud platforms

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the security architecture strategy and roadmap
  • Enable a secure design approach for new developments and delivery through the definition of security control requirements, secure design patterns, and secure configuration
  • Drive security engagement with the product and engineering teams and ensure security requirements are being baked in at the start
  • Provide assurance that controls are implemented as designed
  • Define and ensure the 'secure by design' principles with Product and Engineering teams
  • Support the delivery of a security technology roadmap and the wider Architecture and Engineering teams in the delivery of secure and compliant solutions and services
  • Work with teams across Planet to help define security requirements and validate that designs are deployed in compliance with security standards
