Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, and a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering. Strong experience in HVAC design, fire protection calculations, hydronic systems design, and mechanical equipment sizing and specification is required. Formal or informal leadership experience is preferred.
The Mechanical Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership and oversee the development of all projects within the Aviation (Design Build) group, utilizing their skills to ensure successful project completion. They will build project teams, assist project managers with scope and schedule development, monitor team performance, identify and resolve problems, cultivate relationships with clients and employees, and support proposal opportunities. The manager will also participate in the RFP/RFQ process, including site visits and client meetings.
