Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead molecular biology research projects focused on DNA synthesis, assembly, cloning, scale-up, sequencing, and characterization
  • Independently design and execute experiments and analyze resulting data
  • Move projects forward efficiently, manage time and resources effectively, and prioritize tasks according to company goals
  • Document and communicate experimental results clearly and concisely
  • Discuss experimental results with team members and stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with scientists and bioinformaticians
  • Coordinate with internal Twist teams (product management, manufacturing, QC/QA) on cross-functional projects
  • Solicit technical input, participate in scientific discussions, and contribute new ideas
  • Be helpful, collaborative, and proactive in contributing to the team’s success
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments, companies, and technologies in the field
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all aspects of your work, including related details
