Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field, or equivalent training and experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in animal research or a relevant laboratory science. Practical laboratory experience and demonstrated hands-on interactions integrating mechanical devices and biological processes are required, along with experience in medical device development as a plus.

Responsibilities

The Scientist, Bioscience Process and Validation will lead product development initiatives for innovative biodevice offerings, ensuring a thorough understanding of biological impacts and device safety. They will collaborate with engineering, Technical Service, and Field Service teams to refine design requirements and specifications, design and execute experiments and testing protocols, conduct evaluations in-house and at customer test sites, communicate effectively with internal teams and external collaborators, adapt to different environments, train junior staff, and support project execution while upholding team values.
