Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
1+ year experience in a research or laboratory setting (academic, internship, or industrial)
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical results to audiences with diverse backgrounds
Desire and ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced team environment with adaptability and openness to learning
<25% travel required
May occasionally work overnight or weekends if needed

Responsibilities

Design and execute experiments to support development of new membranes, materials, metrology, and/or processes under the guidance of senior scientists
Support pilot and full-scale test runs by preparing formulations, operating equipment, and collecting/analyzing data
Collect, analyze and interpret data using standard statistical and data analysis software
Clearly document and communicate results through reports or presentations to project team
