Requirements

Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including working in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours
Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment
Must be willing and able to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program
Must be willing and able to become familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals
Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Breaking down equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up, while adhering to Core Safety, food safety policies, and company policies
Responsible for the dry pickup area and visually checking area for cleanliness
Willing and able to break down and set up equipment where needed
Willing and able to use high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor
Willing and able to use various chemicals to foam and scrub floor
Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA
Uphold the principals of SQF 2000
Work schedule will vary depending on production
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent
