Requirements

  • Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including working in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment
  • Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
  • May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be willing and able to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program
  • Must be willing and able to become familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals

Responsibilities

  • Breaking down equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up, while adhering to Core Safety, food safety policies, and company policies
  • Responsible for the dry pickup area and visually checking area for cleanliness
  • Willing and able to break down and set up equipment where needed
  • Willing and able to use high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor
  • Willing and able to use various chemicals to foam and scrub floor
  • Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA
  • Uphold the principals of SQF 2000
  • Work schedule will vary depending on production
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent
