Job Opportunity: Salesforce Developer

Position Overview

ConnectOS is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer for a part-time, remote role. This position involves architecting and developing scalable Salesforce solutions for a Kiwi-owned digital advisory firm specializing in KiwiSaver schemes. You will collaborate directly with leadership to deliver business-aligned outcomes and drive DevOps best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development or consulting experience.
  • Solution Building: Proven experience in building end-to-end Salesforce solutions for financial, insurance, or SaaS businesses.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong command of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Flow Builder.
    • Familiarity with data privacy standards (e.g., KYC/AML, GDPR).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and comfort working in fully remote environments.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tooling (e.g., Gearset, Copado, GitHub Actions).
    • Experience with Account Engagement (Pardot), B2BMA, or Einstein Analytics.
    • Experience building against managed packages or using Sales Insights Integration.

Responsibilities

  • Architecting and developing scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, Flows, Lightning components, and page layouts.
  • Building Apex classes, LWC components, and automation logic for client onboarding, lead handling, and reporting.
  • Owning integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using APIs and middleware.
  • Collaborating directly with leadership (Tech Coordinator, CTO, CEO) to capture requirements and deliver business-aligned outcomes.
  • Driving DevOps best practices, including Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and sandbox governance.
  • Supporting training and adoption through documentation and enablement of super-users.
