Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant sales (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior capital sales experience
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to travel – 50-75% overnight (heavy travel by car and flying)
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb
  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, bend, talk and hear
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations
  • Achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team
  • Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance
  • Coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor
  • Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories
  • Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies
