Requirements

  • Engineering degree in chemical engineering, or an engineering degree in another specialty with equivalent experience in a similar environment
  • Experience in oil refineries and/or petrochemical production, as well as in laboratory and chemical environments
  • Experience working with HS&E and QA standards and practices in a chemical environment
  • Knowledge of different chemical test methods, industrial processes, and quality standards required in a chemical environment
  • Full proficiency in Dutch and English

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Ensure sustainable relationships and financial returns; identify and exploit new opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Maintain relationships with customers and act as the interface with relevant functions and services
  • Manage the chemical supply chain, stockpile, sampling, testing, analysis, and process reporting
  • Coordinate laboratory work and provide technical assistance to support customer accounts
  • Ensure HS&E for projects and full compliance with all company standards
  • Maintain, develop, report, and present improvement programs; manage tenders, technical requests, projects, and chemical tests
