Requirements

  • University Degree
  • 2+ years outside sales or clinical experience
  • Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology (preferred)
  • 2+ years in Medical Device Sales (preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations (Travel Percentage: 50%)

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker’s Neurosurgical, ENT & IVS products as assigned by sales manager
  • Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Interventional Spine products
  • Directs product evaluations in operating rooms, hospitals, and office settings
  • May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Assist in Request for Proposal (RFP) related activities and contract negotiation
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
  • May assist in the training and development of associate sales personnel
  • Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
