Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day sales support and customer service for assigned accounts with primarily indirect sales
  • Perform sales support functions to ensure high level of service, customer satisfaction, and efficiency in corporate processes
  • Serve as liaison between Arrow’s internal resources (field sales, engineering, supplier marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, other departments), vendor resources, and customers
  • Demonstrate proactive approach and sense of urgency on customers’ behalf, anticipate requirements, and communicate efforts timely and effectively
  • Process routine/smaller customer orders accurately and timely: review POs for accuracy, freight terms, transportation, pricing, technical specifications, part numbers, and unique requirements; resolve discrepancies before entry; enter orders into Arrow ERP system; collaborate with shared services on complex issues
  • Review backlog reports to fulfill orders effectively, balancing product cost, customer delivery expectations, and vendor availability
  • Meet customer service agreements in SOW; respond quickly and professionally to requests for order/RMA information, confirmations/invoices, credit status, expediting, or shipping
  • Document customer requests for product returns or maintenance cancellations in Oracle ERP system; obtain facts and decide to accept/reject based on guidelines
  • Manage open backlog of orders, service requests, and RMAs from entry through billing; review to confirm vendor shipment, entitlement, or billing
  • Research and resolve vendor invoice variances (price, quantity, goods/services receipts, freight, tax code discrepancies)
  • May manage customer quotes activities in line with customer-specific strategies, quoting processes, and order management
