Requirements

Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in a technical sales role or equivalent, strong technical acumen to understand complex IT challenges and align them with JumpCloud solutions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, ability to conduct product demonstrations, hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and API-based integrations, strong understanding of protocols RDP, SSH, OIDC, VNC, strong understanding of Identity Infrastructure, IAM, IAG and PAM, technical English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking skills), and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will act as the technical trusted advisor, providing consultative support to organizations evaluating the JumpCloud platform, delivering tailored product demonstrations, uncovering customer pain points and aligning JumpCloud solutions, supporting direct and partner sales teams, building relationships with partners through technical enablement, assisting prospects with setup and configuration of time based trials, providing technical Q&A, assessing prospect readiness, identifying implementation best practices, identifying common technical issues, providing evaluation framework for prospects, and assisting with both direct and channel/partner sales cycles.
