Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the satellite industry and 7 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role. They should demonstrate deep experience in closing complex deals worth millions of dollars and possess a solid understanding of satellite communications and payload design.
The Sales Director - APAC will be responsible for driving leads through the sales pipeline quickly and efficiently, presenting Astranis technical materials confidently, identifying new sales prospects, negotiating deals with client representatives, translating between business and technical requirements, communicating with internal stakeholders, building and maintaining customer relationships, and preparing sales forecasts and reports for the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
Develops low-cost telecommunications satellites
Astranis develops and deploys spacecraft for Geostationary Orbit, focusing on providing internet connectivity to the 4 billion people worldwide without access. The company designs, manufactures, and operates low-cost telecommunications satellites, offering bandwidth-as-a-service to commercial and government customers.
