Vendelux is here to help maximize the impact of all the events that a company sponsors and attends. We are a Series A SaaS company and provide the system of record for event marketing. Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer’s dream. Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Shutterstock, Bain, ZoomInfo, Zulily, NewtonX and Compass. We are in the market for Sales Development Representatives to get the word out about Vendelux with event marketers at trade shows. As a key member of the new business team, you will attend multiple events and conferences in major cities, meet with event marketers at their booths and get them signing up with Vendelux. The Sales Development Representative role will report to our Head of Sales Development and must be located in Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of SDR experience
  • Remote in Las Vegas and able to attend many trade shows in person
  • Great team member who contributes to our culture and our business
  • Takes ownership and demands excellence from themselves and others
  • Likes a fast-paced environment and is a quick learner
  • Experience with SaaS SDR best practices and tactics (email for post-event followups and general outbound)
  • Extrovert who loves meeting new people and traveling
  • Proven track record of overcoming challenges and showing progress
  • A big plus: Background in hospitality, events, or other people-forward industries

Responsibilities

  • Attend multiple trade shows each week in your hub and other hubs like NYC, Orlando, Chicago, Nashville, Dallas, Las Vegas and Denver and meet as many event marketers as possible!
  • Build a pipeline of leads using email outreach, phone calls, social media outreach and in person interactions.
  • Create personalized emails to engage prospects & accounts
  • Qualify prospects through consultative selling while leveraging BANT criteria
  • Schedule high-quality discovery calls or meetings for the Account Executive team, ensuring seamless handoffs.
  • Accurately document all prospecting and lead activity in HubSpot, maintaining data integrity and enabling team insights.
  • Test new outreach techniques, share learnings with the team, and contribute to refining our sales motion.
  • Contribute to our team culture by bringing a positive attitude to the table
