No specific education is required (High School Diploma or GED preferred) and 2 (or less) years of experience in the position or specialization. Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone is needed.
The role involves a frequently active environment requiring constant movement, adjusting/moving items up to 40 lbs., use of specialized equipment, and exposure to dust and noise. Occasionally requires ability to work in place.
Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts, is required. All local, state, and federal laws are adhered to when evaluating availability.
A strong candidate should provide exceptional customer service, maintain store standards for visual merchandising and cleanliness, perform cash register transactions accurately, handle product flow efficiently, and perform keyholder duties like opening and closing the store.
