Basic Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and address safety risks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, or Nursing certification/experience, with the ability to respond to medical emergencies
Background in electrical or mechanical systems, preferably in an industrial or construction setting
2+ years of experience in construction safety or a related field, with a proven track record of implementing safety protocols
Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis to prevent future safety incidents
Experience with safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001) or environmental monitoring tools
Strong communication skills to deliver safety training and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Additional Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to support site operations or respond to emergencies
Physical capability to perform site inspections, including walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

Site Safety Monitoring and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and xAI safety standards
Supply Management: Oversee the inventory of safety supplies, restocking as needed to maintain adequate resources for emergency response and daily operations
Environmental Assessments: Perform manual sound and air quality assessments to ensure a healthy work environment, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions when necessary
First Aid Administration: Provide immediate first aid care to employees as required, coordinating with external medical services when needed
Safety Protocol Enforcement: Uphold and enforce site-specific safety plans, policies, and protocols, conducting training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness
