Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. They should have 4+ years of experience in Life Sciences/Pharma/Healthcare projects, with a strong understanding of Pharma data sets including commercial, clinical, Real World Evidence (RWE), and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and Spark is essential, along with hands-on experience in statistical modeling, machine learning (segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate statistical analysis, time series, optimization), and data management using SQL databases. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data visualization tools is also required.
The role involves providing strategic advisory services, conducting market research, and developing data-driven recommendations to improve business performance. Responsibilities include supporting consulting projects for global clients, potentially covering strategy, implementation, process design, and change management. The analyst will utilize skills from data engineering to data science, provide subject matter expertise in the Life Sciences industry, and develop assets, methodologies, and research papers. Additionally, the role requires supporting strategies and operating models, co-leading proposals and business development efforts, executing transformational change plans, engaging stakeholders, and presenting findings to clients.
