Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and publish clinician rotas, ensuring appropriate cover across all services
  • Manage all leave requests, shift swaps, sickness cover to ensure sufficient staffing levels are maintained
  • Monitor and proactively address clinician scheduling gaps
  • Coordinate daily clinical operations, ensuring appointments run smoothly and any patient or clinician issues are resolved promptly
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clinicians regarding scheduling, systems, or operational queries
  • Liaise with patient services, pharmacy teams, and clinicians to ensure end-to-end care is efficient and well-communicated
  • Track and report on key operational metrics (e.g., clinician utilisation, appointment volumes)
  • Assist with onboarding new clinicians (e.g., system access, rota induction)
  • Identify and escalate operational risks or capacity issues
