Candidates must have 1–3 years of experience in electro-mechanical, robotics, automotive, electronics, or a similar technical field. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes is necessary, along with experience in software and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with Jira or similar documentation tools is required. Applicants should be able to lift 70 lbs, spend extended periods on their feet, and be comfortable driving U-Haul-sized vehicles. A valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to work weekends and flexible shifts, including mornings and evenings, are also essential.
The Robotics Field Operations Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robots using hardware and software tools. They will monitor and support robots in the field, resolving operational issues, and assist with the deployment and retrieval of robots in market areas. Conducting component-level and assembly-level testing to identify performance issues is required, as well as providing feedback to engineering and development teams to refine processes. The technician will track and manage lab and component inventories, log repair activities in Jira, assist merchants and customers during delivery operations, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of robots.
