Candidates must currently have or be obtaining a BS or MS in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field, have 1+ year of programming experience in C++ or Python, proficiency in calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics, excellent technical and analytical skills, be self-motivated and proactive, able to communicate and collaborate effectively, willing to work in a fast-paced environment, and must secure US work authorization.
Preferred qualifications include experience working with ROS and other open-source libraries relevant to robotics, as well as experience in kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and motion.
The role involves working closely with a team of robotics, software, and mechanical engineers in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities, onsite in the Gardena, CA office.
Strong candidates will have the minimum qualifications including a relevant degree in progress, C++ or Python experience, strong math proficiency, and US work authorization, plus preferred experience with ROS, robotics libraries, kinematics, dynamics, control systems, or motion planning.
