Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in payment risk or underwriting, with familiarity with merchant fraud prevention solutions and Stripe. A comprehensive knowledge of risk management, underwriting, legal and regulatory guidelines, and integrated payments is required, along with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite products is also necessary.
The Risk Specialist will monitor transactional data daily to detect fraud, analyze the portfolio to identify loss reduction opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on fraud prevention. They will interact with partners to resolve issues, create reports on losses and revenue, and support merchants with fraud-related issues and chargebacks. Responsibilities also include maintaining risk deterrent features, providing feedback on policies, assisting in underwriting applications through KYC and document checks, and staying updated on industry changes related to fraud, credit, risk, and regulations.
