Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Underwriting, Credit Risk Management, or Fraud Risk Management. Experience in consumer, corporate, or small business cards, payments, invoices, lending, or related industries is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a strong background in customer support via email. Investigative and critical thinking skills are necessary, and a BA/BS from an accredited university is required.

Responsibilities

The Risk Operations Specialist will develop and execute Ramp’s risk underwriting policy for onboarding new businesses. They will build and maintain monitoring dashboards for underwriting outcomes and processes. The specialist will partner with product and engineering teams to create risk tooling that enhances operational efficiency. They will research emerging underwriting and fraud trends to innovate Ramp's decisioning systems and policies, while also managing customer support requests regarding credit and fraud risk.
