Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Finance or STEM based degree preferable)
3-5 years of Risk Management experience or relevant program management experience
Strong analytical, technical and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), a plus
Knowledge of financial markets and products
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills
Self-starter able to work independently and manage time to drive initiatives from beginning to end
Effective written and verbal communication skills to influence decisions
Ability to partner with colleagues and thrive in a team environment
Experience in handling and resolving conflicts
Excellent knowledge of Excel, database queries and analytical tools and methodologies

Responsibilities

Reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in improving their controls and processes
Program management of risk programs like Sarbanes Oxley Certifications, Records management, Risk Assessment tracking
Analyze data and controls to identify and measure risks
Use data visualization tools to develop risk management reporting
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and patterns
Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
Help maintain and improve data quality and integrity
Participate in team meetings and contribute to data strategy discussions
Represent the firm in collaborating with business partners by articulating risk policies and procedures
