Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in risk advisory, internal controls, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and internal control frameworks is essential, and experience with public company audits is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.

Responsibilities

As a Risk Advisory Director, you will lead multiple concurrent SOX projects, execute projects with minimal supervision, set realistic deadlines, manage project budgets, and ensure timely and accurate timecard submissions. You will also schedule and manage teams, communicate project status to clients and CFGI leadership, and provide practical guidance and controls implementation for newly public companies. Furthermore, you will draft and review control design language, perform sampling and testing, and review SOC-1 Type II reports, while actively managing project risks and developing team members.
